I grew up in Branson Missouri, and is most likely where I feel in love with live entertainment. Right out of high school I attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where I majored in Electrical Engineering. I was lucky enough to have a job offer from TL Mobile Broadcasting as an Engineer 2 working on a broadcasting truck. During my time with TL I traveled around the US working on sporting events with ESPN. After a year I took a adjunct teaching job with College of the Ozarks. During this time I focused a lot on freelance tech where I worked on multiple corporate events. I then took a job with Royal Caribbean as a lighting tech/designer. I have traveled around the world working with various artist and multiple production shows. During my time with Royal I was able to oversee the sell of lighting and special effects equipment on bored the Legend of the Seas during her sale to TUI Cruises.

Over two years ago I accepted an offer to get my MFA in Integrated Media at the University of Texas. The program is a part of the School of Theatre and Dance, and works closely on many of the schools theatre productions. Along with working with other theatre design students on multiple theatre productions I have been able to work on multiple side projects. Along with many others this has included UT Basketball Tip-Off and UT VJ Battle. Being at the University of Texas has also given me the opportunity to explore the field of entertainment and technology. I recently have found a love of augmented reality and interactivity that combines my computer science and theatre background.
